Word of Encouragement

Here is a poem I have had for quite some time. I wanted to share this, especially for my friends & family who are dealing with the effects of cancer right now. I love you all and am continually praying for each of you!

What Cancer Cannot Take from You

It cannot take away your faith, shatter your hope,

or lesson your love

It cannot destroy true friendship, invade the soul,

or take away Eternal Life

It cannot conquer your Spirit.

On another note, Race for the Cure is coming up--August 12 at Union Station. For those who have not heard of this, it is a 5K walk/run supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Foundation.
